Update: Please pray for Ade Molendyk as he endures a biopsy this week to test a nodule that has formed in his lungs and has grown in size. Pray for God to give peace to the Molendyk family and for the biopsy to report no concerns.
Update: Please pray for Ward Van Dyke as he was admitted to Zeeland Hospital on Thursday with shortness of breath and elevated blood pressure. Pray for God to be with Ward as the doctors work to determine the cause of these symptoms.
We praise the Lord for the 52 years of marriage that Ken and Sharon Zeinstra will celebrate on Saturday. We give thanks for the love that they share and we pray for God to bless them with many more happy years.
We praise the Lord for the news that Lillian Arendsen is doing well and has been transferred to Tendercare for rehabilitation after being in the hospital with pneumonia. Pray for God to be with Lillian as she recovers and receives the care she needs.
We praise the Lord for the news that Ken and Rose Swets share that their daughter, Beth Wallinga, received a good report indicating that the tumor and lesions on her brain are gone. Pray for God to strengthen Beth as she continues to fight the cancer and for the chemotherapy to be effective in treating the cancer that remains in her body.
Please pray for Steve and Mary Scott as they prepare for a memorial service in Kalamazoo on Saturday for Steve’s daughter, Sue, who tragically ended her own life in July. Pray for God’s comforting presence to be with the family and friends as they gather on Saturday and for God to bring healing and hope in the midst of this difficult time of loss.
Please pray for Lena Hanegraaff as she injured her hip after taking a fall last week and as a result is dealing with some significant pain. Pray for God to be with Lena as she receives care at the Heritage Nursing Community and for the pain in her hip to subside quickly so that she can make a full recovery.
We praise the Lord for the news that Wyatt Hamstra, Jack and Dawn Redder’s grandson, did not need eye surgery this week as it appears that his retina and macula has not fully detached. Pray for Wyatt’s retina to reattach itself so that he will not need to endure another surgery. Pray for God’s presence to be with Sean, Kateylnn, and their families as they wait to see if Wyatt’s left eye will correct itself.
