Update: Please be in prayer for the Congregational Meeting that will take place on Monday, September 8 at 7pm, to vote on a proposal for the construction of a new church sign. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and Christ’s love to be evident in our conversation and decision making on Monday.
Please pray for baby Wyatt Hamstra, son of Sean and Katelyn Hamstra, as they received news this week that Wyatt’s left retina has fully detached. The doctors believe that there is still hope of reattaching the retina, and so we fervently pray for God to heal Wyatt’s eye. Pray for God’s peace to be with Sean and Katelyn as they wait for direction from the doctors.
We express our Christian Sympathies to Jack and Dawn Redder in the tragic loss of Jack’s uncle, Henry Redder, who was killed in a car accident on Tuesday. Pray for God to comfort the Redder family in this difficult time of loss.
Please pray for Lillian Arendsen as she was admitted to Zeeland Hospital on Monday with pneumonia. Pray for God to be with Lillian as she remains in the hospital and for Lillian’s lungs to clear up so that she can make a full recovery.
We praise the Lord for the 89th birthday that Gary Van Hill celebrated on Wednesday. We give thanks to God for the blessings of good health and many wonderful years of life. Pray for Gary’s special day to be filled with joyful celebration.
We praise the Lord for the news that Barnabas Ministries gives that they have been approved to break ground on their new facility on October 20. Pray for God to continue to provide the resources necessary for the Barnabas House and for God to bless their ministry of reaching teens at risk.
Please pray for the Students of Noordeloos Church as they begin another school year. Pray for God to bless them with wonderful teachers, meaningful friendships, and spiritual encouragement this school year.
Please pray for the Shut-ins at Noordeloos Church as they desire to participate in the fellowship of the church but are limited by mobility and health concerns. Pray for God to provide them with good health and regular visits from family and friends.
