Prayer updates for Friday, March 27, 2015

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today.

Update: We praise the Lord for the safe arrival of Gavin John Riddle born to Pastor Matt and Tracey Riddle on Thursday, March 26^th.  Gavin was born weighing 9 pounds and 2 ounces and measuring 22 inches long.  We praise the Lord for a safe delivery and a healthy baby.  Pray for Tracey in her time of recovery and for the Riddle family as they transition to a family of 6. 

We express our Christian Sympathies to Jim and Doris Gaunce in the loss of Doris’ nephew, Kenneth Petroelje, whose life came to a tragic end last Thursday. Pray for God to be with Doris and the rest of the Petroelje in this difficult time of grief and for God to comfort the family in their loss.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Gary and Carolyn Van Hill as they mourn the loss Gary’s brother, Richard Van Hill, who passed away on Monday morning. Pray for God to be with the Van Hills as they travel to Minnesota for the funeral, which will be on Friday. Pray for God’s grace to comfort the Van Hill family in this sad time of loss.

Please pray for Bob Vande Zande and the entire Vande Zande family as they gathered on Monday to lay Tena to rest through a funeral service. Pray for God to comfort the family as they grieve and to strengthen them in the hope of Christ in this difficult time.

We praise the Lord for the 85^th birthday that Marge Vork will celebrate on Tuesday. We give thanks for the many years that God has given to Marge and pray for Marge to enjoy her special day on Tuesday.

Please pray for Hannah Mokma, daughter of Kevin and Sarah Mokma, as she will endure surgery on Tuesday to remove a growth from her arm. Pray for the surgery to go as planned and for Hannah to make a speedy recovery. Pray for God’s peace to be with Kevin, Sarah, and the Mokma family in this anxious time.

Please pray for Dave Pyle as the doctors monitoring his heart to determine a course of action to treat his arrhythmia. Pray for God be with Dave as he waits for the results from the tests.
