Prayer updates for Monday, September 25, 2017

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update: Please pray for Betty Petroleje as she will endure knee surgery today. Pray for the surgery to go as planned and for God’s healing grace to upon Betty so that she can make a quick recovery.

Update: Please pray for Ade Molendyk as he will receive another chemotherapy treatment today and as endured a CT scan last week to check up on concerns with new growths in the lymph glands. Pray for clear results and for the peace of God that passes all understanding, to be with the Molendyks as Ade continues his treatment for the cancer.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Arie Versendaal and his family in the passing of Arie’s grandson, Chad Nykerk, who suffered from a sudden onset of mental illness and tragically took his own life last Monday.  Pray for God to surround Arie and the Nykerk family with His love and grace in this very difficult time of loss.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Roy and Jan Alofs in the passing of Roy’s uncle, Ward Van Dyke, who went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20.  We gives thanks to God for Ward’s life, and we rejoice for Ward as he is now in the presence of his Savior.  A Memorial/Open House will be held from 2-4pm this coming Saturday, September 30, at Noordeloos Church.

We praise the Lord for the 64th wedding anniversary that Gerald and Wilma Martinie will celebrated on Sunday. We give thanks for the many years of marriage Gerald and Wilma have enjoyed. Pray for bless Gerald and Wilma as they celebrate their love and pray for the joy of Christ to be with them in the year to come.

We celebrate with Justin and Caitlynn Vander Wal as they joined their lives in marriage  last Friday. Pray for God to bless Justin and Caitlynn as they begin their lives together as husband and wife.

Please pray for the Deacons meeting that will take place tonight. Pray for God to guide our Deacons as they work to care for the needs of the church. Pray also for the encouragement of faith in Christ to sustain the Deacons as they fulfill the duties of their calling as servants in Christ’s church.
