Prayer updates for Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update: We praise the Lord for the successful knee replacement surgery that Betty Petroleje endured on Monday.  Pray for God to be with Betty as she remains in Holland Hospital for post-op recovery for a couple of days.  Pray for the Lord to grant healing so that Betty can make a speedy and complete recovery.

Update: Please pray for Ade Molendyk as the results of CT scan revealed a progression of growths on the lymph glands. Pray for Ade as he continues to receive chemotherapy treatment for his leukemia and pray for the cancer to respond to the medication.  In this time of need, please pray for God to hold Ade, Bea, and their family in His arms of love so that God would be their strength, rest, and peace.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Arie Versendaal and his family in the passing of Arie’s grandson, Chad Nykerk, who suffered from a sudden onset of mental illness and tragically took his own life last Monday.  Pray for God to surround Arie and the Nykerk family with His love and grace in this very difficult time of loss.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Roy and Jan Alofs in the passing of Roy’s uncle, Ward Van Dyke, who went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20.  We gives thanks to God for Ward’s life, and we rejoice for Ward as he is now in the presence of his Savior.  A Memorial/Open House will be held from 2-4pm this coming Saturday, September 30, at Noordeloos Church.

We praise the Lord for the 64th wedding anniversary that Gerald and Wilma Martinie celebrated on Sunday. We give thanks for the many years of marriage Gerald and Wilma have enjoyed. Pray for bless Gerald and Wilma as they celebrate their love and pray for the joy of Christ to be with them in the year to come.

We celebrate with Justin and Caitlynn Vander Wal as they joined their lives in marriage  last Friday. Pray for God to bless Justin and Caitlynn as they begin their life together as husband and wife.
