Prayer updates for Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Please pray for Fred Zeeff as his doctor has decided to move forward with radiation treatment for the cancerous mass on Fred’s lung.  Fred had an appointment on Monday to go over the treatment plan that will begin soon.  Pray for God to be with Fred and Edna and pray for the radiation to be effective in shrinking the tumor. Pray for the love of Christ to be an encouragement and strength for the Zeeffs in this time of need.

Please pray for MacKenzie Quillen, Jeanne Quillen’s grandson, as he continues to recover from the car accident he was in last week. We praise the Lord for the news that Mac is out of the ICU and in a regular room. Pray for the Lord to grant healing to Mac so that he can make a full recovery from his injuries.

We praise the Lord for the successful surgery that Bob Brus, regular visitor at Noordeloos, endured on Friday to remove a cyst from his shoulder. Pray for God to be with Bob as he recovers and for God’s healing grace to be with Bob so that he can make a speedy and complete recovery.

We praise the Lord for the birthday that Barb Walters will celebrate on Friday. We give thanks for Barb and we pray for God to bless with joy on her birthday and throughout the coming year.

We praise the Lord for the successful open-heart surgery Kristin Sterk, sister of Kari Nienhuis, endured last week. The surgeon was able to replace the heart valve and make some other repairs. Pray for Kristin’s pain levels to be manageable, for her to remain free from infections, and for her body to begin recovering quickly. We praise God for the answered prayers for a successful surgery and ask for God’s continued presence to be a strength for the Sterks and their family in this time.

Please pray for our Snowbirds as they prepare to travel to the winter homes. Pray for God to provide safety in their travels and for God to bless them with good health this winter so that their time away will be enjoyable.

Please pray for the Homebound members at Noordeloos Church during this time changing seasons and as we prepare to begin of the holiday season. Pray for God be with those who are unable to attend worship because of sickness or mobility. Pray for God to grant them good health and bless them with visits from family and friends during this busy time of year.
