Prayer updates for Tuesday, January 9, 2018

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update: Please pray for Del Mokma and Gary Meeuwsen as they are traveling to Louisiana and back this week delivering work trailers for World Renew. Pray for God to grant them safe travels and for God to bless the work that World Renew is doing to help those in Louisiana who are still recovering from the devastating effects of natural disasters.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Tony and Hazel Kiekintveld in the passing of Hazel’s sister, Angeline Geerlings, who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, after a two-year battle with cancer. Pray for the comfort of Christ and the hope of eternal life to surround Hazel and her family in this sad time of loss.

Please pray for the students and leaders who will be attending the Impact Retreat at Cran-Hill week from January 12-14. Pray for safe travels and for a safe and fun weekend. Pray also for God to use this retreat to help our students grow in their relationships with Jesus and with one another.

Please pray for God to be with all of our Teachers, Students, and all other Participants in the educational ministries of Noordeloos as we begin the second half of the education year. Pray for our teachers and leaders to find encouragement and endurance as they give their time to teach and lead others. Pray for God bless all of our classes and groups, from young to old, so that our love might abound more and more in knowledge and devotion to Christ (Php 1:9).

Please pray for the people under the care of Pastor Nate Bull and Forefront Ministry—Benton Harbor who are doing their best to endure this cold winter without access to heat in their homes. We praise God for the response of Christian love through the collection of warm blankets to send to Pastor Nate for distribution among the people in his community. Pray for each of these blankets to be a tangible expression of Christ’s love. Pray also for the Lord to continue to provide for those in need during bitterly cold winter season.
