Prayer updates for Tuesday, February 13, 2018

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update: We express our Christian Sympathies to Rose Swets in the passing of her husband, Ken Swets, who went home to be with the Lord on Monday. Ken and Rose are members of Noordeloos Church who moved to Texas a number of years ago, and who have maintained several close ties to Noordeloos over the years. Pray for the Lord’s loving presence to comfort Rose and the Swets family in this sad time of loss. If you would like to express your sympathies to Rose by sending a card, please contact the church office for the mailing address.

Update: Please pray for Michael Pueler, brother of Karen Nowak, as he was diagnosed with agent orange leukemia. Pray for God to be with Michael as he awaits further tests results that will give a better idea as to the extent of the cancer and the treatment options available to him.

We praise the Lord for the 54th wedding anniversary that Wayne and Marilyn Breuker will celebrate on Wednesday. We give thanks for Wayne and Marilyn and we pray for the Lord to bless them as they celebrate their love this week.

Please pray for Ade Molendyk as he remains very tired and weak after his recent hospital stay.  Pray for the Lord to be with Ade and Bea in this time of need and for God grant Ade he strength he needs each day.  Pray also for the Ade’s body to adjust to the new chemotherapy treatment, for the side effects of the new drug to be minimal, and for the treatment to be effective in treating Ade’s cancer.

Please pray for Joe Nordyke as he will receive another injection this week for the pain in his back and leg. Pray for the injection to be effective so that Joe can find relief from the pain he has been experiencing and be able to make a full recovery.

Please pray for Brian and Michelle Schrotenboer as they welcomed a newborn foster son into their family last week. Pray for God to be with the Schrotenboer Family and their foster son in this time of transition. Pray also for God’s grace to be at work in the lives of the biological parents in this difficult time.  Pray especially for the Lord to work through the Schrotenboers to provide their foster son with the stability, love, and care he needs right now.
