Prayer updates for Wednesday, May 2, 2018

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update:  We praise the Lord for the successful back surgery that Joe Nordyke endured  on Tuesday.  The surgery went well but was much more extensive than what they anticipated.  Pray for God’s healing grace to be with Joe in his time of recovery as he is in a significant amount of pain and discomfort.  Pray for the Lord to grant Joe daily patience and strength he needs each day in this time of healing and rest.

We praise the Lord for the news that Tim and Ginny Spahr are in Ethiopia this week to finalize the adoption of their daughter, Kalkidan.  Pray for God to grant them good health and safe traveling mercies.  Pray also for God to be with the Spahr family in this exciting time and for a smooth transition for Kalkidan as she comes home to her forever family.

Please pray for Larry De Groot as he continues to recover from his back surgery.  Pray for God’s healing grace to be with Larry and for the pain to subside quickly so that he can make a full recovery.

Please remember to keep our Farmers in prayer as they prepare for another growing season.  Pray for God to grant them safety as they as they go about their work and for the Lord to bless us with healthy and abundant crops this year.

Please pray for the members at Noordeloos Church who are Homebound or who reside in Nursing Homes as they desire to participate in the fellowship of the church but are limited by mobility and health concerns.  Pray for God to provide them with good health and regular visits from family and friends.
