Prayer updates for Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

We praise the Lord for the successful surgery that Ashley Morren endured last Thursday to close a hole in her heart. We give thanks to God for being with Ashley and for the news that the surgery went very well. Pray God’s healing grace to be with Ashley so that she can make a full recovery.

Update: Please pray for Junior Nyboer as he was admitted to Zeeland Hospital on Saturday due to concerns with his heart rhythm. Pray for God to be with Junior as his heart rate and rhythm are still not consistent and as the doctors work to determine the best course of treatment. Pray for God to be with Junior in his ongoing health struggles and pray for God to give him grace and strength for each day.

Please pray for Dutch Meinema as he continues to battle the melanoma cancer. Pray for God to be with Dutch as his body continues to be weakened by the cancer. Pray for the love of Christ and the loving support of the body of Christ to strengthen and sustain Dutch and Iris in this difficult time of need.

Please pray for Ken Hossink as the doctors were unable to clear the blockage in his heart and as he will have to endure another procedure next month. Pray for God to strengthen and encourage Ken in this time of need and for the upcoming procedure to be successful.

Please pray for Kathryn Zeinstra as she will endure a surgery on Monday, April 25, to remove the cancerous mass. Pray for the surgery to be successful and for God to give grace and strength to Kathryn, Dave, and their family in this anxious time of waiting.

Please pray for safe travels for the Snowbirds of Noordeloos Church who will be returning to their Michigan homes in the coming weeks. Pray for their time away to have been refreshing and God to grant them a smooth transition back to their Michigan homes.

Prayer updates for Monday, April 18, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

We praise the Lord for the successful surgery that Ashley Morren endured last Thursday to close a hole in her heart. We give thanks to God for being with Ashley and for the news that the surgery went very well. Pray for God’s healing grace to be with Ashley so that she can make a full recovery and so that she will have no further concerns with her heart.

Update: Please pray for Junior Nyboer as he was admitted to Zeeland Hospital on Saturday due to concerns with his heart rhythm. We give thanks to God that the doctors were able to bring Junior’s heart back into rhythm and are now monitoring him to make sure there are no other concerns. Pray for God to be with Junior in his ongoing health struggles and pray for God to give him grace and strength for each day.

Update: Please pray for Ken Hossink as the doctors were unable to clear the blockage in his heart on Wednesday and as he will have to endure another procedure next month. Pray for God to strengthen and encourage Ken in this time of need and for the upcoming procedure to be successful.

Update: Please pray for Ashley Morren as she will endure a surgery this afternoon to close a hole in her heart. Pray for God’s peace to be with Ashley and Austin and for the surgery to go as planned so that Ashley can make a full recovery.

Update: Please pray for Ken Hossink as he will endure a surgery this afternoon to open the blockage in his heart and to insert a stint. Pray for God to be with Ken as he endures surgery and for the surgery to be successful in opening the blockage in Ken’s heart.

We praise the Lord for the good report that Ken Knap received from his doctor showing that the cancer was contained in the one mass that has been removed.  We praise God also for the news that Ken will have no need for further treatments at this time.

Please pray for Kathryn Zeinstra as she received the difficult news that she has been diagnosed with cancer. We give thanks to God the cancer was discovered very early. Pray for God to be with Kathryn as she awaits a surgery date and pray for God to give grace and strength to Kathryn, Dave, and their family in this difficult time.

Please pray for Roy Alofs as he was thrown off his horse last week and sustained significant injuries to his pelvic bone. Pray for God’s healing hands to be on Roy so that he can make a full and speedy recovery.

Prayer updates for Wednesday, April 6, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update:  Please pray for Dutch Meinema as he was admitted to Zeeland Hospital on Tuesday to be treated overnight for dehydration. Pray for God to be with Dutch as he continues to battle the melanoma cancer and as he is very tired and weak from the cancer and radiation treatments he endured. Pray for the love of Christ and the loving support of the body of Christ to strengthen and sustain Dutch and Iris in this difficult time of need.

Update: Please pray for Kathryn Zeinstra as she recently received the difficult news that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Initial reports show that the cancer is in the very beginning stages and appears to be contained. Please pray for God to be with Kathryn as she awaits news of a surgery date. Pray for God to give grace and strength to Kathryn, Dave, and their family in this difficult time.

Update: Please pray for Roy Alofs as he was thrown off his horse over the weekend and sustained significant injuries to his pelvic bone as well as some torn ligaments. Pray for God’s healing hands to be on Roy as he is experiencing significant pain and  also pray for God to be with Roy so that he can make a full and speedy recovery.

Update: We praise the Lord for the good report that Ken Knap received from his doctor showing that the cancer was contained in the tumor that was removed through surgery a couple weeks ago.  We praise God also for the news that Ken will have no need for further treatments at this time. Pray for God to be with Ken so that he continues to make a full recovery from the surgery.

We praise the Lord for the 54th wedding anniversary that Ken and Sharon Machiela celebrated on Sunday and the 63rd wedding anniversary that Ken and Ruth Knap will celebrate on Saturday. We give thanks for the example of love and faithfulness that we see in the lives of the Machielas and Knaps. Pray for God to bless them as they celebrate their anniversaries this week.

We praise the Lord for the 89th birthday that John Groenewood celebrates on Wednesday. We give thanks for the many years God has given to John and we pray for God to bless John on his special day.

We praise the Lord for the safe arrival of Lou Brower, son of Mike and Lori Brower, as the Browers finalized their adoption last week and welcomed Lou home on Friday.   We praise God for his faithfulness to the Browers through the adoption process. Pray for God to be with the Browers in this exciting time of transition and for Lou to bond quickly with his new family.

Please pray for Steve and Karin Meeuwsen as they continue working to finalize the adoption of Abe Meeuwsen.  Pray for the final paperwork to be issued so that Steve and Karin can bring Abe home soon.  Pray for God to be with the Meeuwsen family in this time of waiting.

Update: Please pray for Kathryn Zeinstra as she recently received the difficult news that she has breast cancer. Initial reports show that the cancer is in the very beginning stages and appears to be contained. Please pray for God to be with Kathryn as she waits news of a surgery date and as she prepares for the radiation treatments that will likely follow the surgery. Pray for God to give grace and strength to Kathryn, Dave, and their family in this difficult time.

Update: Please pray for Roy Alofs as he was thrown off his horse over the weekend and sustained significant injuries to his pelvic bone as well as some torn ligaments. Pray for God’s healing hands to be on Roy as he is in a lot of pain and pray for God to be with Roy so that he can make a full and speedy recovery.

Pray for God to comfort Karl and Von as they mourn the loss of Von’s father, and for Corey and Heather De Vries and their children as they mourn the loss of Heather’s grandfather.

We praise the Lord for the 54th wedding anniversary that Ken and Sharon Machiela celebrated on Sunday and the 63rd wedding anniversary that Ken and Ruth Knap will celebrate on Saturday. We give thanks for the example of love and faithfulness that we see in the lives of the Machielas and Knaps. Pray for God to bless them as they celebrate their anniversaries this week.

Prayer updates for Friday, April 1, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

On Sunday, we will gather once again for worship. In the morning service we will continue our series through Ephesians with the message titled “A Spirit-led Life” based on Ephesians 5:1-20. In the evening service we will hear message titled, “The Authority of Christ” based on Mark 11:27-12:12. Pray for God to prepare our hearts for worship so that we come with an anticipation of meeting God in his Word.

 Update:  We praise the Lord for the news that Steve and Karin Meeuwsen received that Abe has been issued his passport.  Please continue to pray for the final paperwork to be issued so that Steve and Karin final the adoption and can bring Abe home.  Pray for God to be with the Meeuwsen family in this time of waiting and for God’s guiding hands to bring Abe home soon.

Update: We praise the Lord for the news that Mike and Lori Brower and their children will be returning home today to finally welcome Lou Brower to his new home! We praise God for his faithfulness to the Browers through the adoption process and give thanks for the time the Browers were able to spend with Lou in Haiti this week. Pray for God to be with the Browers in this exciting time of transition and for Lou to bond quickly with his new family.

Please pray for Len Ericks as he has been struggling with the depression he has. Pray for God to encourage Len with reminders of His everlasting love and grace and for Len to experience God’s peace in this difficult time.

Please pray for the Shut-ins at Noordeloos Church as they desire to participate in the fellowship of the church but are limited by mobility and health concerns.  Pray for God to fill them with the joy that comes stems from their hope in Christ!

Please pray for Steve and Karin Meeuwsen as they continue working to finalize the adoption of Abe Meeuwsen.  Pray for the final paperwork and for a travel Visa and Passport to be issued to Abe so that Steve and Karin can bring Abe home.  Pray for God to be with the Meeuwsen family in this time of waiting and for God’s guiding hands to bring Abe home soon.

Please pray for Mike and Lori Brower and their family as they are at Children of the Promise in Haiti this week finalizing their adoption. Pray for good health this week and safe travels as they return home with Lou on Friday! Pray for God to be with the Browers in this exciting time of transition and for Lou to bond quickly with his new family.
