Prayer updates for Wednesday, January 11, 2017

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update: Please pray for Arie Versendaal as he endures a procedure this morning to remove a cancerous spot from his forehead. Pray for the procedure to go as planned and for all of the cancer to be successfully removed. Pray for God to be with Arie and grant him the grace and strength he needs today.

Update: We praise the Lord for news that Don Brower is now home after being treated in the hospital for blood clots. Pray for God to grant strength and healing to Don so that he can make a full recovery. Pray for God’s peace and loving presence to be with Don and Fran in this time of need.

Please pray for Tim Hoffman, Joy Morren’s nephew, as he will endure an MRI of the eyes this week to investigate the cause of the vision problems he sustained in the accident. Pray for the results to be clear and for the doctors to be able to treat the problem so that Tim can regain his vision. Pray for God’s sustaining presence to continue to be with Tim in his recovery.

We praise the Lord for the news that Ken Van Woerkom is home and doing well after enduring shoulder surgery on Tuesday. We praise God that the surgery went well and we pray for God to be with Ken so that he can make a full recovery.

 We praise the Lord for the healing grace He has shown to McKayla Steenwyk as she was admitted to the hospital last weekend with appendicitis and as she endured a surgery to remove her appendix. We give thanks for the surgery going well and we pray for God’s strength to be with McKayala as she returns to her studies this week.

We praise the Lord for the successful procedure Gerrit Kortman endured on Thursday to open up a blockage in his heart. We give thanks to God that they were able to clear the blockage and we pray for God’s healing grace to be with Gerrit so that he can make a full recovery.

Prayer updates for Monday, January 9, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

Update: Please pray for Tim Hoffman, Joy Morren’s nephew, as he will endure an MRI of the eyes this week to investigate the cause of the vision problems he sustained in the accident. Update: We praise the Lord for the news that Ken Van Woerkom is home and doing well after enduring shoulder surgery on Tuesday. We praise God that the surgery went well and we pray for God’s healing grace to be with Ken so that he can make a full recovery.

Update: Please pray for Gerrit Kortman as he endures a procedure at the Meijer Heart Center on Thursday to open up a blockage in his heart. Pray for God’s peace to be with Gerrit and Joanne on Thursday and for the surgery to be successful in clearing the blockage in Gerrit’s heart.

We express our Christian Sympathies to Jason and Barb Walters in the passing of Barb’s brother, Vern Haak, who passed away last week. Pray for God to be with Barb and Jason in this sad time of loss and for Lord to comfort them in their grief.

We praise the Lord for the birthdays that Tony Kiekintveld celebrated on Monday and that Bernie VanDenBerg celebrates today. We give thanks for the many years that God has given to Tony and to Bernie and pray for God to bless them with his joy in the year to come.

Please pray for McKayla Steenwyk as she recovers from surgery she had on Sunday to remove her appendix. We praise the Lord for the news that the surgery went well and we pray for God’s healing grace to be with McKayla so that she can make a speedy recovery.

We pray for God’s provision and care to be with us as we enter a New Year. We give thanks to the Lord for His love and care for us this past year. Pray for God to fill us with greater love for Jesus so that we might better show his love in and through our lives.

We praise the Lord for the 68th wedding anniversary that Gary and Carolyn Van Hill will celebrate on Friday. We give thanks to God for his faithfulness to Gary and Carolyn over the years and we pray for God to bless them as they celebrate their love this week.

Update: We praise the Lord for the news that Cal Van Ommen is being released from the Meijer Heart Center and will be returning home today. Please pray for God’s continued healing grace to be on Cal as he recovers from the heart valve surgery and as he also received a pacemaker on Sunday morning after experiencing some complications.  We praise God for being with Cal and Mary in this time of need and for pray his loving presence to be with with them as they transition back home.

Please pray for Gerrit Kortman as the heart catheterization he endured last week revealed a blockage in Gerrit’s heart that will need to be addressed through a surgery.  Pray for God’s peace to be with Gerrit and Joanne as they wait for the surgery to be scheduled.

Please pray for the Deacons as they meet on tonight. Pray for God encourage them as they serve others in ministries of mercy and benevolence and as they help us to be good stewards of our resources.

Prayer updates for Thursday, December 22, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

We praise the Lord for the birthday that Ruth Knap will celebrate on Friday. We thank God for Ruth and we pray for her birthday to be a good time of celebration and a time of giving thanks for the love and faithfulness God has shown her throughout her life.

Update: We praise the Lord for the news that the heart valve surgery Cal Van Ommen endured this morning went very well and they were able to insert a new valve in his heart.  Pray for God’s healing grace to be with Cal as he recovers from the surgery and for God to grant hims speedy recovery so that he can return home soon.

We praise the Lord for the news that Gerrit Kortman is home after as he endured a heart catheterization on Monday.   Pray for Gerrit as the procedure revealed a blockage in Gerrit’s heart that the surgeon was unable to open up and as Gerrit will now need to schedule a surgery to open up the blockage.  Pray for God’s peace to be with Gerrit and Joanne as they wait for the surgery to be scheduled.

Please pray for us to be prepared celebrate the birth of our Savior on Christmas Day. Let us also remember in prayer those that will be traveling on the days surrounding Christmas. Pray also for good health so that we can enjoy the celebration of Christ’s birth with our families this week.

Update:  Please pray for Cal Van Ommen as he remains at the Meijer Heart Center and as his heart valve surgery was moved to Thursday due to scheduling conflicts at the hospital.  Pray for the peace of Christ to be with Cal and Mary in this time of need and for the surgery to be successful in repairing Cal’s damaged heart valve.

Update: We praise the Lord for the news that Gerrit Kortman is home after as he endured a heart catheterization on Monday.   Pray for Gerrit as the procedure revealed a blockage in Gerrit’s heart that the surgeon was unable to open up and as Gerrit will now need to schedule a surgery to open up the blockage.  Pray for God’s peace to be with Gerrit and Joanne as they wait for the surgery to be scheduled.

Please pray for Cal Van Ommen as he was admitted to the Meijer Heart Center last Wednesday in order for the doctors to monitor his heart. Pray for God to be with Cal as he is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to replace the damaged heart valve. Pray for the peace of Christ to be with Cal and Mary in this time of need and for the surgery to go as planned on Tuesday.

Update: Please pray for Gerrit Kortman as he is enduring a heart catheterization this morning. Pray for God to be with Gerrit and Joanne and for the results to be clear so that they will be able to properly address the concerns with Gerrit’s heart.

Prayer updates for Thursday, December 15, 2016

Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:

We praise the Lord for the birthday that Em Weener celebrates today. We give thanks for the many years God has given to Em and we pray for God to be with Em and grant her good health in the year to come.

Update: Please pray for Cal Van Ommen as he was admitted to the Meijer Heart Center on Wednesday so that the doctors can better monitor his heart. Pray for God to be with Cal as he is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to replace the damaged heart valve. Pray for the peace of Christ to be with Cal and Mary in this time of need and for the surgery to go as planned on Tuesday.

Please pray for our members who are Homebound, either in their own homes or who reside in a nursing home. Pray for God to bless them this holiday season with visits from friends and family, and for God to bless them with the joy of Christ as we move toward Christmas.

Please be in prayer for all those at Noordeloos Church who are Grieving the loss of loved ones during the holiday season, or who struggle with seasonal Depression at this time of year. Pray for God to comfort them and to remind them of the abiding presence and love of their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Please pray for all our Students at Noordeloos CRC who will be preparing for exams over the next couple of weeks. Pray for God to grant them the energy they need to study for their exams. Pray also for their upcoming Christmas break to be a good time of reconnecting with family and friends.
