Please keep these prayer requests in mind as you come before God in prayer today:
Update: We praise the Lord for the news that Bob and Gladys Heyboer share that their daughter’s niece, Anna Weeber, was released from the hospital and came home on Wednesday night after being treated for a brain aneurysm. We praise the Lord for the work of healing God has done in Anna’s life and for the news that Anna and her unborn child are both doing well.
Update: Please pray for Kim Zeinstra and her team as they leave on Saturday for a month of ministry in Hong Kong. They’ll be partnering with Youth for Christ, and, as the culture in Hong Kong values efficiency, the team will be kept extremely busy. They are excited to share the gospel in multiple venues daily, and they ask for prayers for strength, health, good attitudes, and team unity.

Pray for the loving presence of God to be with and comfort the Witte Family and the Holland Christian School community in this difficult time of loss.
We express our Christian Sympathies to Mike and Pam Doan in the passing of Pam’s father, Julian Wildrom, who went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23. Pray for the God of all comfort to be with the Doan family and especially with Pam’s mother, Ruth Anne Wildrom, in this difficult time of loss. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday October 2 2016 at First Reformed Church of Grand Haven.
We praise the Lord for the successful skin cancer procedure that Len Ericks endured last Wednesday. Pray God to be with Len as he recovers and for all of the skin cancer cells to have been effectively removed.
We praise the Lord for the safe return of Val Avink to Haiti. We are grateful for the time Val was able to spend in Michigan with family and friends, and we pray for God to be with Val as she transitions back to her work at Children of the Promise. Pray for continued good health and for God to work through Val as she builds relationships with the staff, nannies, and children of COTP.
Please be in prayer for those members who are walking through a Time of Grief as they mourn the loss of their loved one(s). Pray for God to meet them in their sorrows, carry them by his grace, and comfort them in the pain of loss. Pray also for the love of Christ and that of the Christian community to be a comfort to them in this difficult time.
