Update: We express our Christian Sympathies to Barb Nagelkerk and Groenhout family as they mourn the loss of Barb’s nephew, Tim Groenhout, who went missing in January and whose body was found over the weekend. Pray for God’s comforting grace to be with the Nagelkerk and Groenhout families in this sad time of loss. Friends & Family Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1 from 6:00-7:00 followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM at First CRC, 516 S. Ferry St. Grand Haven, 49417.
Update: Please pray for Ken Machiela as he suffered a minor heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids. We praise the Lord that the damage to Ken’s heart was minimal and that the doctors were able to insert a stint in Ken’s heart to open the blockage. Pray for Ken as the doctors also discovered some blood clots in his lungs. Pray for God’s healing touch to be with Ken so that he can make a full recovery.
We express our Christian Sympathies to Gary and Carolyn Van Hill as they mourn the loss Gary’s brother, Richard Van Hill, who passed away on Monday, March 23. Pray for God’s grace to comfort the Van Hill family in this sad time of loss.
We celebrate with Pastor Matt and Tracey Riddle in the birth of a healthy baby boy, Gavin John Riddle (9.2 lbs and 22 inches long), born on Thursday, March 26. We give thanks to God for a safe delivery and a healthy baby and pray for God to be with the Riddle family in this joyous time.
We praise the Lord for the 53rd anniversary that Ken and Sharon Machiela will celebrate on Friday. We give thanks for the love that Ken and Sharon share and for God’s faithfulness to them over the years. Pray for God to bless them with joyful celebration this week.
Update: We praise the Lord for the pray the successful surgery that Hannah Mokma, daughter of Kevin and Sarah Mokma, endured this morning to remove a non-cancerous mass from her arm. Pray for God to be with Hannah so that she can make a speedy recovery.
Pray for God to prepare our hearts for Holy Week as we journey nearer to the cross and anticipate the resurrection on Easter Sunday. May we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
